SMS-Activate Sign Up: Registration in 2026

SMS-Activate sign up closed permanently on December 22, 2025. You cannot register for a new account because the service shut down completely and stopped accepting new users.

The registration page no longer works. Any website claiming to offer SMS-Activate sign up is a scam attempting to steal your information or money.

What Happened to SMS-Activate

The service closed all operations including new account registration. The sign up systems were disabled along with all other platform functionality.

Before closing, SMS-Activate recommended HeroSMS as the primary successor service. HeroSMS acquired the core technology platform and continues providing virtual number services using the same infrastructure.

Important: If you find a website offering SMS-Activate registration, do not enter personal information or payment details. These are scam sites exploiting the brand name. The legitimate service is permanently closed.

What You Get After Sign Up

Registering on HeroSMS provides access to the same core functionality users relied on with SMS-Activate.

You get immediate access to 180+ countries after registration. Major regions include USA, UK, Russia, India, China, Germany, France, Indonesia, Brazil, Turkey, and 170+ others available right away.

The service supports 700+ platforms including all major social networks (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok), messengers (Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord), online services (Google, Microsoft, Amazon), and marketplaces (eBay, Shopee). The "Any Other" option handles unlisted services.

Virtual numbers deliver verification codes within moments. The same 20-minute activation window with automatic refunds for undelivered SMS continues from the former platform.

Developers get full API access at hero-sms.com/api for automated operations and bulk number provisioning. The five-level discount system activates based on your top-up amounts, giving regular users automatically better pricing.

Differences from SMS-Activate Sign Up Process

While HeroSMS operates on the same technology foundation, a few sign up differences exist.

Payment Methods. The former service accepted multiple payment options during registration including cards and e-wallets. HeroSMS requires cryptocurrency only, which may create a barrier for users unfamiliar with crypto but ensures maximum privacy.

Feature Access. After sign up, you access virtual numbers exclusively. SMS-Activate offered temporary emails and ready-made accounts post-registration. HeroSMS focuses purely on number delivery.

Interface. While familiar to former users, the interface isn't identical. The workflow for selecting services and receiving numbers follows recognizable patterns but with modern refinements.

Account Transfer. Old SMS-Activate accounts don't transfer. Everyone needs fresh registration regardless of previous account status.

Why Sign Up for HeroSMS

The infrastructure backing HeroSMS already powered millions of successful verifications before the transition. When you register, you're not gambling on an unproven platform — you're accessing technology with extensive operational history.

The supplier networks remained identical across all 180+ countries during the technology transfer. Former users get the same number quality and availability they relied on previously, just through a different interface.

Registration success rates improved through enhanced provider selection algorithms. While platform security challenges remain unavoidable across the industry, HeroSMS handles these issues more effectively than the former service.

Pricing currently sits below market average thanks to leaner operations and focused development. This competitive advantage may not last indefinitely as the service scales, but users benefit from lower costs right now.

The workflow feels instantly familiar to anyone who used SMS-Activate. Despite interface modernization and refinements, the learning curve remains minimal for former users.
